Yesterday marked a very special day: 10 years since I started uploading pony art.

It sounds silly, but I owe a lot to these tiny cartoon horses. Without them, I certainly don't think I'd still be drawing today, if even at all. Art College had left me an absolute wreck at the time. I'd been repeatedly told that humour had no place in art, that cartooning was not an art form, and that drawing 'just for the fun of it' was wrong and that all art required deep, powerful meaning.

I felt like I was taking a gamble at the time drawing ponies. To say it paid off is an understatement. Would I go back and do the last ten years all over again, even knowing what I know now? You bet!

So, as a tenth anniversary piece of sorts, it only seemed right to go back and do something based on the idea that started it all, the ending to 'The Last Roundup'. All these years later and the "Rarity catch me!" scene STILL gets me laughing like a loon! XD
