This picture was a breakthrough for my art. It took me further into painting-ontology, and surreal atmosphere. Before it took place, I got fascinated with the dark art creators, which touches soul, and teases the tragic thoughts, as well as melancholic or sentimental.
Designing this canvas, I was drawing the face - visible in the final work. This face emerged from some fantastic wasteland. From the beginning, there had not to be a concrete face - but an illusion, a dream or a phantom... Partially combined from different dimensions, and different scales. The background is subordinated to a similar process of arising or sinking, wandering at the border of visibility and consciousness.
Nothing is certain - the head, constructed from different matters sparkles with few colors, the ground seems to be hard or loose, the part of the structures burns, when the sky fades in gusts of cold and sand wind. The face doesn't present any concrete emotions - it is stupefy, perhaps it doesn't scream, perhaps it congealed in self tragedy, perhaps it doesn't exist at all... Or it exists, but in a void...
