A friend requested that I draw her my elf siting in indian style playing the flute for a tattoo. I numbered the sketches in the order that I drew them. Numbers 1 and 2 are actually abandoned sketches (so they are unfinished) but i included them anyway just in case any of you think 1 or 2 are better than 3.

Number 1 was just not working.
I then enlarged it and transfered it and then reworked it and ended up with number 2. The horizontal flute was making it very difficult to draw the arms.
The third I went in an entirely different direction with the pose I think. and went back to the horizontal flute position.

Anyway, I like the third the best but what do you peeps think? I want you to be totally honest and crit these drawings to death! Don't be mean but please be totally honest. There are probably things in these drawings that don't seem right and I wont notice them until someone points them out. I may not do everything you suggest but I will take each comment into consideration as best I can.

It may be the case that I'll have to simplify the lines since this will become a small tattoo but I may reuse this drawing for an illustration.

Please tell me your thaughts, criticisms, suggestions, questions, etc.
