Summer 2008

This past summer I shot photographs of my mother, father, brother, and myself holding a pig’s heart. The pictures are a reaction to my mother and father’s heart attacks. Each of our poses are very specific. My intention was to make photographs that capture how we each uniquely responded to the heart attacks and our individual perceptions of mortality in general.
