A simple, but basic, detail, often overlooked in drawings. Because of this, quite necessary and useful (this latter despite the fact that I'm a writer, and not a graphic artist).

The pink globules that stay atop the ribs when prone are well-filled implants, right? I have see photographs of women with implants that exhibit unnatural retention of the orb shape.
I have also seen many nude supine women, and every natural breast shifted to either side to the point where the skin between the areolae was essentially flat. A structured bra can mostly cancel this, and a well-placed hand or arm can add substantial lift, at least to normal sized breasts, but the shift is quite apparent.
That said, I have faved many images featuring exceptionally perky breasts. The very best thing about art is the expression of imagination and desire, not the ability to portray reality. Reality is far less appealing than fantasy.

Whelp, now artists have no excuse not to draw breasts realistically. A pet peeve of mine is busty women laying on their back with rocket like boobs pointing to the sky. Apparently, a lot of artists have never spent enough time with naked women to realize the effect of gravity on women... >^_^<
