A long overdue halloween project where I spent more time sketching ideas than making the actual final piece. I feel like "Cheesy Cemetery" was the best name I could come up with so far. "Cheesy Delivery" and "Pepperoni Peril" were a few other names I thought of but I don't know I ended up liking "Cheesy Cemetery" the most so that's what I stuck with. The name was stuck in my head like melted cheese on a tasty burger. So why the theme (and perhaps obsession) of cheese and pizza? Well...Pizza Tower is a game I started playing lately and all I can think about is food and silly characters. It's a really good game so far and I'm attempting to P-rank levels but I'm taking a break. That game is stupidly addictive. Also I've been inspired by black and white illustrations and lino prints lately. Most likely because spooky. I've also been looking at "1 bit" indie games like Gato Roboto and Minit. Played through Gato Roboto for the second time recently. A great short metroidvania and a great inspiration for my artwork. Who doesn't love piloting a mech suit as a cat? I'm thinking of doing something for November even though I'm already a little late. Noirvember is the name that comes to mind the most and the drawings will look similar to this. I just need to come up with some prompts...
