Description
This is the supermegaultra HUGE Charizard plushie I made for myself. I made it several months after the Christmas 2013 plushie frenzy, which is why the other plushes are absent.

I think I mentioned on other plushie deviations that I made this 100% without tutorials and pattens, but then I realized that was not true. I did NOT use patterns: the shape of the pieces that are sewn together to make this magnificent beastie are still 100% my own. Sketched directly on the fabric then cut out and sewn into this.

HOWEVER I forgot I used a tutorial to make those super cool eyes. And I can't for the life of me find where the original tutorial went. Basically, you just color the eyes onto fabric using sharpie until the marker bleeds through, cut out the eye shape and sew it on. If you recognize your tutorial from that description, let me know and I'll give you credit
I also used a tutorial from ThisUsernameFails to do the needlesculpting that forms the brow ridge over Charizard's eyes: www.deviantart.com/art/Needle-… .

There is no armature inside this plush, it's all just polyester stuffing. (That's why his wings are floppy). I didn't want to deal with trying to find the right gauge wire and try to anchor it blah blah blah. I just stuffed the living shit out of Charizard's neck to get it to support the weight of his head.

Materials: fleece (soooo much fleece), polyester stuffing (soooo much stuffing), embroidery floss, thread. Sewn mostly on a Pfaff machine, but the teeth, eyes, legs, flame, wings (?), and horns were attached by hand.
