Tailfin Pass California and four tuners were hanging out in the mine that they had converted into a house. The tuners were a 1994 pink and silver Mitsubishi Eclipse with a double decker spoiler and three boost tanks named Boost, he was the leader, his second in command and best friend was a little dark blue Scion xB with a sound system and two tail rudders named DJ, the third tuner was a wildly painted green and purple Nissan Silvia s15 with a spoiler so tall that you could use it as a ladder, his name was Wingo and the fourth tuner was a orange Plymouth Barracuda with two big wheels in the back and two small wheels in the front and a supercharger sticking out of his hood, his name was Snot Rod and although sometimes he was teased by the other tuners, he knew they were just joking around and didn’t mean anything by what they would say to him. The tuners were in good terms with the Radiator Springs townies since they had helped rescue the Dinoco rookie sensation Cruz Ramirez when she was kidnapped two years ago. The tuners had also saved the next gen racers who were kidnapped and the international racers who were kidnapped and were nearly killed by Boost’s evil little brother Kabuto, DJ’s evil younger brother, Yokoza, and Wingo’s evil younger brother, Komodo who were also accompanied by Jackson Storm and Chick Hicks. But little did the tuners know that Kabuto and his army were plotting revenge on the tuners. “Man, can y’all believe that it’s been two years since we helped rescue Cruz and the other racers?” DJ asked as they were hanging out in the mine that they lived in. “Well, it does feel like like a significant amount of time but I cannot believe that it’s been two years” Boost admitted taking a sip of his high octane fuel and then, the tuner leader had an idea. “Hey, why don’t we take a drive down to Radiator Springs and see how the townies are doing?” Boost suggested and his friends agreed. “Let’s bounce” Boost said and the three tuners drove down the mountain to Radiator Springs for a visit.
