Also known as "How Marco Trolled Everyone, Ever".Heard about the Animophs series reprint (and updating the series with modern jokes...but why would you want to do that?!) awhile ago and decided to do a piece. Kinda not been very good updating. Gotta keep more on top of that...:/

Good for you, Applegate! Re-printing is the first sign of a classic series, you know.
And I was expecting Ax to have gone and re-written all the pages relating to Relativity and Mathematics, thus sneakily and ax-identally pushing technology levels forward by a couple hundred years.
You gonna do more Animorphs stuff? Never was enough fan-work for that series.

No kidding? They're actually reprinting the books? Awesome! I was just thinking the other day about how I'd like to read the series again, but as all of our books were either lost or sold and the series was out of print that wasn't possible! I'm going to have to keep and eye out for them in bookstores again!

Someone remembers Animorphs? Oh how I have missed the series! Never even got to finish the whole thing. Got roughly half the series from it's first run.
And now they're redoing it? I hope they don't ruin it. It was geared towards a younger audience.

oh my god; I LOVED the animorph books all throughout Middle School! I stopped reading them after a while (mostly because I afer reading the last book I didn't finish it because of what happened in it) but this makes me want to go pick up another copy a read them again!

Dangit. Animorphs I remember, but now they're applying it to slightly new stuff, while the original animorphs made late 90's references. Felt kinda bad when I'm an animorph guru but I had to look up ho yay and tv tropes. Shame on me, it's all new and I'm in my 20's. The times are a changin', but if they do replace every backstreet boy reference with a lady gaga reference, I just ask at the bottom of those pages they have a note that tells you what the original said....For Nostalgia's sake.

It is actually not that bad. The way they are editing it to seem more "time neutral" with references so that any reader could read these and don't have to ask about past references to the 90s or such.
