Description
Trigger
(Full name unknown.)
IMPORTANT!!
This character belongs in a multiverse (ThePrimoverse ) that my friend and I have created. If you are unfamiliar with that multiverse, some of this information may seem unnecessary/confusing to you.
This version of Trigger is my main version of him, his original homeplanet was destroyed meaning his pattern is strained so his general story is largely different from his other doppelgangers in other universes. He currently lives on a refugee-holding planet named Helivale, which does strain his pattern but keeps it from breaking, meaning he still has his old memories of his old home.

- Trivia -
Trigger has a bit of a stuttering problem, with the causes of why he has it are still somewhat unclear. He himself cannot remember wether he was born with this speech impediment or he got it later in his childhood because of his surroundings, but it's suspected it may have been a mixture of both.
Trigger knows how to speak his native language (Korean), but tends to never do so since he's afraid of being made fun of since he's very rusty.
He's very socially awkward and can't hold a conversation with another person on his own, though his friends like Himitsu (who are extroverted and social) always wants to help him meet new people.
It's very common for Soulkeepers to identify as Demi, and Trigger is no exception. His physical sex is male, though his soul Torch does not have a set gender, aka they're nonbinary. And since Torch and Trigger are one and the same, it makes them Demi. It's common for Soulkeepers to identify as demi or NB, and Trigger is a little bit inbetween. This is up to the host to decide what they want to identify as however, so soulkeepers identifying as cis aren't out of the question either, of course.
While on the topic of Torch, Torch and Trigger belong to one another as one. But unlike a Carnal (who has a sentient, separate soul) the host has all the control over the soul, and they also share the same senses as eachother. Torch does NOT have a mind of its own with its own personality, voice, consciousness or will. This separates a Soulkeeper from the Demon category, since Torch is not an entity with a developed conscience like a Carnal is, and cannot take over the body of the host, nor is it an actual species. Torch and Trigger are one and the same person.
Additionally, Trigger can manipulate and handle other people's souls as well. Every person has a soul, Soulkeepers are just unique in that they happened to end up mutated with their lifeforce on the outside of their body when they were first created, instead of on the inside. To help prevent breaches, this mutation fortunately granted them the ability to handle their souls physically to keep them in check and not stray too far away from one another. This means that Trigger can physically take out a soul from a person, soulkeeper or not, and hold it in his hands. If he chooses to, he can manipulate that soul in all kinds of ways, but actively chooses not to since he(and many other soulkeepers) is uncomfortable with holding a person's life in their hands with the ability to do whatever they want with it (including killing if so desired).
A horrible liar and it's very easy to tell when he's acting. He also much prefers telling the truth.
Is highly allergic to pollen and prefers to remain inside during the summer.
- Likes - Pleasing people, quiet spaces, calm people, being heard
- Dislikes - Nature, darkness, heat, anger, arguments, liars
- Voice example - Michael J. Fox/Milo, Atlantis (2001) - www.youtube.com/watch?v=li-S5C…

Jon - Boyfriend, trusted
Himitsu - Close friend, trusted
Kime - Friend
Richard - Friend
Pixel - Friend
Russell - Warm
Chris - Warm
- Weapons - None
- Powers - [Work in progress]
- Strengths -
- Kindness: Trigger is an incredibly kind person who wants to help the people around him with their struggles. Even if he lacks confidence, strength and general health, he always at least wants to try and help those who need it, despite how unsuccessful he may be. His empathy is elevated to degrees people could only dream of.
- Perceptive: With the help of Torch, he's got a keen eye and pair or ears. Torch allows Trigger to see and hear things beyond his physical capabilities, such as over distances, through walls and in some instances through other realms (albeit rarely). As well as his more supernatural side to things, he's also perceptive within his human boundaries, easily picking up on social cues, emotions or people's wants and needs without much second-guessing at all. If someone wants or thinks something, he'll most likely figure it out before you do.
- Selflessness: Trigger has a strong sense of selflessness. If his loved ones are in danger his anxiety is stifled and he isn't afraid to jump in, despite having little chance of making a difference he will always try. It's gotten him in trouble plenty of times but it hasn't stopped him from trying regardless.
- Disadvantages/weaknesses -
- Physically fragile: Trigger is painfully weak in terms or physicality, having a somewhat malnourished look to him with very little muscle or fat on his bones. It's not that food is the issue, he has no appetite issues; it's more that his treatment as a child lead to health issues that keeps him chained down, not allowing him to gain much weight or have the strength or capability to exercise as he wants to.
- Anxiety: Trigger is riddled with anxiety to where it practically seeps out his ears. Worry and fear have become a permanent houseguest to him, constantly riddling him with self-doubt and fear that his friends and loved ones don't like him or they will leave him. This issue with attachment leads to him being incredibly dependant on the people around him, having little confidence to stand on his own feet or becoming independent.
- Overly emotional: Another biproduct of his anxiety and background leads to him being very emotional, even over the slightest of problems or wrinkles. His fragility easily makes him a target of people looking to manipulate or take advantage of him and his ability to cave under pressure so quickly. Fortunately, his friends are more than willing to defend him in tricky situations, as well as help teach him to stand up for himself.
