The more I stare at the image, the more I realize I don't know where to begin. The more I realize I have my beginning.
The image tells a story, and if you know what you're looking at, it takes you on a journey back through history. Is that a deposit of volcanic ash I see on the inside of the crater? How many millions of years ago was it deposited?
It raises questions, and that is always a good thing. It also makes me want to visit the island.
After all, was Santorini really the historical basis for Atlantis?
