Description
oil on canvas, 100x80 cm.a...not easy to explain this one, is about the memes, and their levels.
Short about the memes:
The memes have 3 levels:
1) the organic one, the living organisms
2) the mind level, all human ideas that replicate themselves from brain to brain like a virus. A meme is the smallest atomic unit of information that is stored in the mind that can be socially transmitted and reproduced. Their evolution respect the darwininan principles of selection.
3) the technological memes that does not have his genital organs ready for the job is the artificial life, nanorobots & stuff, which spreads itself via technology -- and invents ways to keep itself alive

I didn't understand the concept you were trying to get across at first, but then after i watched part of the video you inserted, I started to get the idea. i can't watch the whole video tonight, but I must say that this piece is phenomenal and deserves the DD that it received!^_^

It makes me think of a mature, Dali-esque version of Wall-E. And poses all sorts of wonderful questions about the future, as robot development slowly closes the gap between real and artificial.

It is very similar to toe works of Patrick Woodroffe - Mythopoeikon.
Love it.

It's interesting to look at but I don't get it. Your description only makes my mind boggle more. I thought memes were stupid little questionnaire things people put in their blogs to waste your time and their own. Atomic brain units? Way over my head I think. Again, though, interesting image and it's done very well. I like the robot on the left. The detail is fantastic!

I'm scared.
Aside from that, what an image! You just don't see creations like these anymore. There's so much inspiration, artistic talent, creative thinking...so many aspects, so many views, so much just going on in the picture itself!
This most CERTAINLY belongs as a DD, among many other award winners in my opinion! Fantastic!

Bizarre yet beautiful.
Is it just me, or am I seeing some Francis Bacon influence, no? (;

Very clever, imaginative, and bizarre. The only thing I don't understand the significance of is the group of small people in the foreground. Are they supposed to represent society/civilization/public observers to process and propagate what they are seeing? Also I see two figures are just shaded plainly, a reference to our racial or cultural generalizations about each other. Anyhow, very well done, I'd like to see this in a museum someday.

Beautiful, unusual, and confusing.
I like it. It opens new questions within itself.

It's like someone who's ADD and just daydreaming as their thoughts turn into a picture.
Awesome. :]

Super interesting, awesome choice of color palettes, could easily be hung next to Dali's works!
