"Sometimes I wonder, what shall remain of me when I am no longer. I suppose it’s a thought about leaving a legacy. Whenever I find myself in an art museum, I really like to look at the sculptures that depict the likeness of renown human beings. The imperfections, the chipped pieces of these busts hidden away in museums where they are protected from natural elements, it all highlights the inevitable, impermanent fate of all things. It all serves as a reminder to not worry about the future and what will be, but instead try to live a life filled with curiosity, perseverance, kindness, love, compassion, patience towards myself and those around me. And if I create things along the way that might outlive me, so be it. But all that I truly have is right now, so I must live it in accordance with my values and morals to the best of my ability and with the tools I have in this moment. What shall remain will remain."
