FULL VIEW NEEDED!Their design is sort of an alien/angel/mech mix which , although not similar in any way haha, is based on the 'collectors' (enemies in ME2)
I wanted to give the viewer the feeling of not knowing exactly what the 'invaders' are, if they are either an alien ship, an alien 'unit' or whatever...the same kind of feeling the two guys on the ground would feel. About the guys, they don't seem terrified, that's exactly what I was going for, as the concept of the piece was that someday we got so f*#*ed up that some of us became desperate and started searching for anything that could help our kind, this scene shows the arrival of this alien species that some humans worship as saviors even though they don't really know what's the purpose of the 'invasion'

The..spaceships? are really amazing. When you said angels, the picture began to remind me of judgment day.
I'm not sure if it was intended this way, but I see a lot of moons in the sky so there's an earth like feeling, but also not.
The little figures make me laugh, it's just like a human to act like that. x)

Nice attention to lighting, you even have some of the cloud illuminated from the lights going into the air. I'm not sure what those thing are though, they look like floating piles of trash lol.

Wow this is definitely worth a closer look. I love they "aliens", and how you presented them in a way that's beautiful, frightening, and calming all at once. Not just a saucer and a lazer beam, haha.

On the other hand you do not force a certain feeling on the viewer. One may also find this even soothing.

They do look angels; alien angels, you got that down to a T. The interesting thing is, they don't inspire terror, but joy, judging from the two people. What are they standing on, it looks like water?
The sky is awesome, beautiful complimentry colours there.
