Metroids have a variant based in Hyrule from The Legend of Zelda.Metroids appeared in Kirby, Kid Icarus (kind of) so here's them being in the land of Hyrule from TLOZ. Perhaps some Chozo have unknowingly placed them here when they came to Hyrule or they came from a meteor, either origin aside, they are here now. When in Hyrule they would appear is up to you.
