Good coloring I like it a lot. That blank area under the blue guard's arm keeps drawing my eye though, its a real distraction. Everything else fits very well, so what happens? I could make my own guesses but the story teller's story is far better.

*sigh* Ever since I first saw this image, I have always thought your character, Vivlest, was the cutest male ever drawn. I just couldn't stop staring at him! I even put it on my desktop for a few months and would always get stuck gazing at him when I had no other windows open. The expresion on his face, the urgency created by his sisters struggling to reach him. And of course I can't go one enough about how very beautiful every last line, color and shadow make the picture. It makes my heart pound!
I just want to jump into the image as one of my characters and take out all the guard. "Back off! he's mine! *hackslash*" But then again, my characters just wouldn't look as nice. lol
... Ok, so I'm obsessive. Forgive me.

This looks wonderful! Don't worry about the background, I'm sure that once you get the hang of it you'll be wowing us with the detail you put in it! As with the others, I have to agree that the scene is very emotional and conveys a lot in terms of story.
I'm going to have to go against the grain and say that he doesn't survive as pretty as he is though I'm sure he'll put up quite the struggle to try and get away. ^^;;

robin hood comes out of nowhere, and snipes the guy with the sword.
meanwhile, the girl in the bg unleashes her true self.. she is a man. but with extreme skills in the art of pissed off fighting, she kills everyone on the castle, stopping only once to free his captured friend/secret crush..
i see. this story has a lot to it.
and yes, he survives the ordeal. the main man, that is.
