The first of my many, many Castlevania character choices. Even though games like Symphony of the Night and Portrait of Ruin and Aria of Sorrow are among my favorites, Order of Ecclesia had that special something that made it an incredibly fun game to replay. Also, Shanoa's character design (not just her physical character design) is awesome; it's rare in games (perhaps not so rare anymore?) that female characters--let alone LEAD female characters--are portrayed as anything other than specific stereotypes. Too often we get the Eye Candy, or the Moe McGrumpypants or the Shy One or the Inexplicably Kind to Everyones. While I suppose Shanoa's personality is flat as per her lack of memories/emotions, she still reacts to things and thinks logically and is given the chance to, say, beat Dracula before he's given the chance to transform. Like, you know, NO other Castlevania characters ever.

She's a pretty big deal, is what I'm saying.
