For Zohali
Zohali turned to face the familiar face of Sara. Almost one year ago, he had gone to her begging to be taken as an apprentice, to learn the craft of caring and nurturing the sick and injured. Whatever was gleamed from that test, whatever he may have spoken to her with, it proved fruitful, and now the real test stood right in front of him.
From the beginning, he was guided towards this path by his own family. His brothers and sisters, much of them struggled for a myriad of reasons. An instinct to care, an early upbringing into suffering... whatever it was, he had set his sights on learning how he could help them early in his childhood. How to help all of them, not just his immediate family. His ambitions grew towards a desire to care for the entirety of his empire.
He knew it would be difficult. that it would be taxing both mentally and physically to call oneself a mender. But he was ready to take the necessary steps to ensure that the felines of shadow could live long prosperous lives.
The training begins here
This was a really fun collab between myself and the ever-amazing Dea-Vita ! I had sketched, lined, and colored the characters, while she did the background and shading!
