These were made for my own use, I just wanted something a bit chunkier to aim my mouse with!PS : the "waiting" cursors are animated.
PPS : DA didn't like me trying to upload a zip file so for any of you having trouble with the tar format there's a zip version of the cursors here -> [link]
To install the cursors follow the advice from :
Download the zip file and extract the contents somewhere easy to find on your hard drive.
Assuming you have Windows, click on Start- Settings-Control Panel and double click the Mouse icon. Click on the Pointers tab. Select the particular cursor you want to replace and click on Browse. Navigate to the location on your hard drive where you saved the cursors, click on the particular one you'd like to use and click on the Open button.
You'll see the new cursor in the preview box. If it's the one you want to keep, click Apply and move on to the next cursor you want to replace.

Just Photoshop to make a load of PNGs then another bit of software to convert/save as icon files.
Can't remember what software I used I'm afraid, the cursors above were a bit of a one-off so I just used a shareware icon editor.

Thanks for the reply! I want to make a Sniper Cursor, but I already made it on Gimp, so can you pretty please with a cherry on top convert it into a cursor? If you can, you can make it better if you want. Here is a screenshot

I'm afraid I don't have that software anymore and don't even remember what it's name was (I made this cursor set 2 years ago).
I'm sure if you spend a few minutes pouring over Google results you'll be able to find something!

what software you use to make this cursor?

These were designed with Photoshop, exported as PNGs then imported into another piece of software to make them into .cur and .ani files.
I'm afraid I can't remember the name of the software I used for the last stage as I only ever used it once for these cursors... However, there seem to be a few around nowadays, IcoFX ([link] ) was the first one that google pulled up for me!

Yes : In the pointers tab of the mouse properties window, just set the "scheme" to "none" in the drop-down menu above the individual cursors.
