Im sorry that your life had to end that wayim sorry that your heart said it was your last day
you faught for twelve years intill that october day
when you heard said that ive had enough and today is the day.
as you lay in your bed with your mom by your side with so much left to say
i love you and goodbye came out and then your heart gave way.
im sprry i wasnt there to say my last goodbye
so im writing this to you as i try hard not to cry.
so hear i go goodbye shauna i hope you have had a good life
i know you didnt give up without a fight.

I think. . . I know how you feel. I have a seven year old brother who is in remission from cancer. Even though I didn't/don't know her, this deviation is a testament to the human soul.
