HiFoo includes its own statistics system and rating engine for taging your music file, but you can install foo_playcount component ([link] ) if you want to handle stats thru an external database and not in music file (HiFoo checks if foo_playcount.dll is installed or not ^^)

When it says: "extract the .zip file into your foobar2000 user profile folder", well I found the folder but what zip file(s) exactly are you talking about? The fonts only?

Ok, sorry I was thick for a minute. Now it works on my Windows 7 x64, even without installing MS Visual C++ and Direct X. Thanks a lot for this wonderful piece of art. Very much appreciated!

Oh and when the skins show up, you can't click on anything. Not even move the window.

Both this and your Tech skins stopped working. I've even done a clean install of 1.1.7 of Foobar just to test. The skins show up but there is no display or data in them. Foobar works fine in default. If anyone has any ideas that would be great. I love these skins and hate to see them not work.

listen to me: i've tested, it works fine, so i can't help you if you're sure you've followed the installation notes ! (don't try to update components, just use the ones included in the .zip)

when i opened foobar i just got grey box with just "close,restore down, & minimize" button on it
i've tried everything, installed C++ 2005,2008,2010, installing previous directx,but still got the grey box with nothing on it except the 3 button in top right corner

done. i've just installed the fresh v1.2 of foobar2000 and extract the HiFoo package to the right folder ... all is running flawlessly.

i've done clean install, step by step without mistake and im very sure of it, but still what i got is blank theme..and suddenly its working but after i closed foobar and open it again it got blank theme,and again and again, when the skin is working the song i played not shown in foobar song list area, and when i clicked song list area or lyrics area it crashed
then i checked foobar online troubleshooting, and found out some component that keep making my foobar crash,so i simply updating some component from your skin to it newer version,copy your skin files into roaming folder again,aaand voila !! it works again

I've done the same thing on both 1.2 and 1.1.7 and all I get is a blank theme. Meaning, black background, borders but no data or visuals anywhere. I've made sure it has been a clean install for both. Very stumped. Sad because I love your work and have used your themes for a long time. Very weird.

Hey man, great theme!
I installed it with newest foobar (1.1.15) and functionality is perfect, but some graphics / characters are missing or replaced: see screenshot here [link]
As you can see there are a few things not quite right. Minimize button, poweroff button, play button replaced with a Z, rate up and down replaced with ^ and %, I'm also guessing those 0.00/ dont belong before the track counter.
Anything I can do or is this just an artifact of using a newer version than intended? cheers!

as said (as always) in installation notes, there are some required fonts (2 to be exact), so, just install them and all will be fine

Congratulations for the great work.
But I can't make it work, and I've never been that far into f2k yet.
When I select "Columns UI" as the UI module, f2k panels are reorganized (as expected), but f2k returns to its default display mode (all grey, default buttons, Segoe/calibri font, etc.), and not a single element appears as it should be. I never used such a skin before, always dealt with the default user interface, so... don't see what could be the reason.

How to install it when you've already added previous themes with ColumnsUI?It keeps applying the old theme i had.

Hi, really enjoying the skin. One minor annoyance is how the cover art looks like it's on a cd case. Is there a way I could just have the cover art?
Also, not sure if this is because of your skin, but I can no longer play songs by clicking play in the folder I have them in - I have to start them via foobar. Any ideas why?
