I recently saw a video on YouTube from someone called film feature 43 and explains how violet should and could have won and one point he made a point I never noticed before and is out of everyone you not really know what’s going to happen to violet he never says she’ll turn into a blueberry just “it’s not quite ready yet” but for everyone else like Veruca for example you know if she stood where the eggs landed she might fall down the shoot but violet you don’t know until she’s already turning blue and filling with juice
