Description
The most recent assignment in my vector based imaging class was to recreate a famous painting in Adobe Illustrator CS. I chose a Conan the Barbarian painting by Boris Vallejo. As it turns out, this project was more difficult than I ever imagined. I think it took me around 35 hours to make, and it's still nowhere near as detailed as the original. Still, the project was meant to get us to learn how to use the gradient mesh tool effectively, so I should get an A. Here's hoping it looks good when I get it printed.
