I'll admit, 'Samurai' isn't something I'd think would fit Twilight (more AJ's or Dash's thing), But damn, you certainly make it look cool!

Especially like the Cutie-mark/Arcane-symbols design on that scabbard.

Well I see a Samurai as a very intelligent and noble warrior. I thought that twilight would fit that description.

 But you are right about AJ and Rainbow dash. I could see AJ and Dash as a better choice since AJ's more honorable and Rainbow Dash is very noble. Maybe I'll get across that and make more with each of the mane 6.

Maybe Twilight could be a Samurai-Wizard? Magic user who think Katanas Are Just Better?

And I could totally see Rarity/Fluttershy doing the whole 'Lady of War' thing, especially in contrast to AJ/Dash

Depends on what would ninja-dash looks like. The traditional Black outfit, or something exaggerated like the clothing on Naruto or other various animes.

Given that we saw RD in a black spy-costume in the show I would say traditional Black Outfit. As much as RD loves to brag she's also a professional at what she does, so she would wear only professional cloth to her job. :3
