"WHAA!?" Said Margari as she sprung up from her bed in shock! She looked around her room frantically in panic.Realising that she's okay, she rubbed her eyes and sighed in relief. "Just a Nightmare." She looked at her alarm clock to see the time.
02:19 AM it read.
"Almost twenty pass two?" She then threw her head back into her pillow and moaned in agony as she was annoyed by waking up from a bad dream late at night.
While still awake, she was very tired but couldn't fall back asleep. Her stomach started growing in hunger as well, which did not help at all.
Tired, annoyed and hungry, Margari switched on her bed light and got out of bed. She then walked out of her bedroom and towards her kitchen.
Still annoyed, she started talking to herself. "Why me, of all people, first a nightmare and now this."
She made it to her fridge and took out a bar of chocolate and a water bottle. She ate half of the bar and drank all of her water.
Now having to refill it for later, she walked towards the sink to fill up her bottle. Only to nod off and hit her head against the tap, waking her up.
Holding her head in pain, she quickly put the bottle back into the fridge and yelled in anger.
After the pain subsided, she was very knackered and super moody. She started cursing in rage as she held her sore spot. She then retreated to her room and got back into bed.
But she still couldn't fall asleep, no matter what she did. This only made her lose her temper as never asked for any of this to happen.
She clenched her fists and angrily punched her pillow repeatedly.
She then fell face first into her pillow and cried, sobbing with tears. All she want was to sleep but with no luck.
"Why can't I just go to sleep? WHY CAN'T I SLEEP!!!"
Margari cried what felt like for 5 minutes, sobbing with sadness, she closed her eyes and whispered to herself: "please just let me fall asleep."
Out of nowhere, a male voice called out to her.
"Margari... please calm down..."
Margari then reopened her eyes, thinking who said that?
"You're in need of help... let me help you..."
Margari then sat up and looked around to see who was talking to her.
"Who's there?" She said.
"Its okay... you just need to relax..."
Margari then assumed she was sleeping and was having another nightmare. "No no no no, please leave me alone!" She hid under her blanket, starting to tear up again.
"I bring you no harm... I just want to help you..."
Margari then peeked an eye out of her blanket and looked around. "If you're here to help me, then show yourself." She requested.
"You want to sleep peacefully... I'm here to help you do that..." said the voice
Margari then poked out her head and called out to the voice, "how are you gonna help me fall asleep? I don't even know who you are?" After looking around her room, a ring appeared in front of her and a hand came out of it.
"Do not be afraid... I'm here to help you..." said the voice.
Margari was now stunned in shock, starting at the hand. She thought she was going crazy.
"I shall help you relax, as there's nothing to fear..."
Margari now frightened said: what are you going to do to me?
The hand then mysteriously pulled out what seemed to be a pendulum covered in gold with a glass orb in the centre.
It then started swaying it in front of Margari's face, slowly waving it left and right.
Margari then released what was happening, the hand was going put her under a trance.
"Um, I don't think hypnotism is gonna help, isn't hypnosis fake?" She asked.
"I assure you that this will help your sleeping problem...and it is very real..." the voice replied. As it finished, the orb in the pendulum showed a spiral, spinning continuously.
Now catching her attention, Margari stared at the pendulum as it caught her off guard. She still didn't believe it would work, she tried to look away but couldn't take her focus of it and started feeling woozy.
"Relax... Sleep... its all going to be okay..." said the voice in a smoothing way.
Margari mouth started to drool as she continued starring at the pendulum, her eyes still staring at the spiral, started to droop and her arms flopped to her sides.
Slowly being mesmerised, Margari yawned and started shut her eyes. But then started to cry as she was afraid of going back to sleep.
"No, I don't want to-"
"There's no need to be upset... I will protect you..." the voice said calmly.
Margari then opened her eyes, they were now mimicking the pattern of the pendulum's orb.
"I'm not going to let anything harm you... just go to sleep Margari..." said the voice.
Margari then struggled to sit up straight and fell backwards into her pillow, still in a trance.
Slowly, Margari eyes began to shut and everything went silent.
-BEEP-BEEP-BEEP-BEEP-
"WHAA!" Margari scream as she jumped out of bed and landed on the floor. She started panting in terror as loud beeping blasted through her room.
Looking behind her, she sees that her alarm clock going off and is the cause of the beeping.
08:15 AM it read.
Sighing in relief, she turned off the alarm and stretched her muscles before standing up.
"Man, what a night that was. All this mumbo jumbo stuff and all. Wow what a dream."
Scratching her head, she then remembered something.
"The hand! That voice!" She looked around her room, searching for the hand. It was no were to be seen.
She called for the voice, no response.
"Was I really dreaming? It felt so real!" She thought.
She then shook her head in disbelief, "Nonsense, there's no way any of that was real. Probably got so tired I fell asleep." She then laughed with joy.
She stood up and to her surprise, saw a note on her desk beside her bed light. Curious, she picked up the note and read it.
'Margari, I hope my services had helped your sleep problem and hopefully will stop you from having them again in the future!
May we meet again.

On it also shows a drawing of the pendulum that was similar to the one Margari saw in her dream! If it even was one.
She just stared at the note in shock as many questions were flooding her head. Did she really meet a floating hand? And if she did, Did she actually get hypnotized by it? And the note she found! Was she ever gonna meet the voice again?
She just got out of her pyjamas and into her clothes, hoping that she would encounter who or whatever she met last night once again.

WOW this was a long story to type out. This all came up in my head as I got the idea to draw this.
There may be some spelling errors, I'll try to fix them all.
