I actually graduated and celebrated by watching Howl's Moving Castle by myself. I love that movie so much and can relate to uncool, self-deprecating, Sophie on all new levels.

I wanted to draw something fairly fast without worrying about a ton of tiny details. This still took hours but I'm just trying to explain why Howl looks like a girl. The point of this drawing was more to test my new program than it was to make a super detailed image. That and Howl just looks like a girl. I love him and his Ghibli version still looks amazing, I just couldn't do him justice. I already struggle with drawing guys (trying to improve), he wears blouses, and in the words of my mother, "has a woman's haircut." The struggle was real.

I also wanted to do a nicer Calcifer but once I drew that face there was no changing it. It was too good.
