For this character study, I took a slightly different approach. In addition to examining the original concept art, I also drew from the Megamix concepts and even crafted my own rendition from a unique angle.

Reflecting on my own version, I noticed some inconsistencies in lighting and dimensions. For instance, if the light source is coming from below, the shading should probably be on the sides rather than the mouth area.

Ultimately, my aim is to continue venturing into crafting my own interpretations of these characters, reimagining them in various styles. This exploration is one of the main objectives of these studies.

PS: I like it how enemies couldn’t just be "a bullet" back in the day. "Slap a face on that projectile boy!" Bullet Bill, here’s looking at you boo.
