TEAM GOLDENSTAR
Volcaina - The Protagonist (1st main character), originally a human before she got turned into a Vulpix. She quickly befriends the first Pokemon she encounters and they create their own exploration team known as "Team GoldenStar" in which Volcaina is the leader.
Thunder - The Deuteragonist (2nd main character), a Pikachu who becomes Volcaina's best friend, he is the second-in-command of Team GoldsenStar
Mew - A shiny Mew who Volcaina and Thunder find as an egg. She looks to them as her "parents" even though she knows they only found her. (Somewhat replaces Manaphy)
Temporal's Pride - A teenage shiny Dialga who joins Team GoldenStar to stop the planet's paralysis. (Somewhat replaces Celebi)
White Fire - A shiny Reshiram who joins Team GoldenStar and is a valuable member to it.
Bronzong - A Bronzong who's trying to prevent the planet's paralysis, he's forced to return to the future while protecting Volcaina and Thunder
Latias - A Pokemon who Team GoldenStar rescue during one of their adventures, she along with her brother join Team GoldenStar shortly later on. She also goes into the future when Volcaina and Thunder get taken there to rescue them
Latios - Latias' brother. He's mistooken for a thief as he was stealing TMs to rescue his sister, however, Team GoldenStar rescues Latias for him and he joins the team later on. He also may possibly die during one of the climatic parts
Riolu - A Pokemon who joins Team GoldenStar early in the adventure, he goes on most adventures.
Zorua - A Pokemon who joins Team Goldenstar early in the adventure, he goes on most adventures, he's very helpful as he can turn into other Pokemon as use their moves and abilities
Zebstrika - The mechanic, illuminator, and mechanical specialist of Team Goldenstar
Sstarmie - The navigator and snipe shooter of Team GoldenStar, he's one of those who carries some of the team Pokemon during flight.
Leafeon - The medic/healer of Team GoldenStar
Salamence - The heavy ballistics and power house of Team Goldenstar, he carries most of the Pokemon when the team's in flight
Ninetales - The cook of Team Goldenstar, despite her lack of multiple attacking moves, she's a good fighter
Lapras - The water transportation of Team GoldenStar, also takes Volcaina, Thunder, and Bronzong to Hidden Land
Butterfree - The reconnaissance of Team Goldenstar, also one of those who carries Pokemon when the Team's in flight
Ponyta - Illuminator of Team Goldenstar. Her flames tend to keep the team up most of the night, but she's given special fire-proof blankets to cover her flames to make it dark enough for the others to sleep.
Cresselia - A Pokemon who joins Team GoldeStar to defeat Darkrai, after his defeat permanently joins Team GoldenStar.
DRAGONITE EXPLORATION GUILD
Dragonite - The guildmaster of the story, becomes good friends with Team GoldenStar and looks to them as as worthy apprentices. (replaces Wigglytuff)
Mightyena - Dragonite's assistant and second-in-command of the guild. He may be strict, but he's a friendly guy and sometimes assists the other teams (replaces Chatot)
Dratini - Dragonite's son and visits the guild often, forms a friendship with Team GoldenStar
Hurricane - A shiny Lugia who's a master explorer. She retires from exploring due to her partner betraying her and currently lives in the Guild
Lunatone - The Pokemon who runs the Pokemon team assemblies and the one who chooses which Pokemon to go at their leaders' requests (Replaces Chimecho)
Miltank - The cook and healer at the guild (also replaces Chimecho)
Charizard - The swap shop owner at the guild, despite his appearance, he's a friendly guy (replaces Crogunk)
Crobat - The wake-up caller and alarm at the guild (replaces Loudred)
Dugtrio - The updater for jobs and master sentry at the guild
Diglett - Dugtrio's son, a sentry
TEAMS AT THE GUILD
Team Flash - Lead by a Linoone and Electrike, they go on most adventures with Team Goldenstar and owe their lives to them
Team Aqualeaf - Lead by a Vaporeon and Bayleef, they go on soem adventures with Team Goldenstar and Vaporeon grows closely in love with the Leafeon on the team
Team Magnetism - Lead by a Magneton and Kabuto, just a minor team
Cyndaquil and Flygon - Leaders of their own team, minor characters
Lileep and Combee - Leaders of their own team, minor characters
Girafarig and Hitmontop - Leaders of their own team, minor characters
TREASURE TOWN CITIZENS
Seadra and Horsea - Pokemon who are good friends with Team GoldenStar, they go on some of their adventures (replace Marill and Azurill)
Magnezone - The town sheriff, father of Team Magnetism's Magneton
Magnemite - Pokemon who are the cops in Treasure Town
Metang Brothers - A pair of Metang who run the shop and wares in town (replces the Kecleon Brothers)
Klingklang - The bank owner in town (Replaces Duskull)
An unknown Pokemon who runs the storage system (replaces Kangaskan)
Porygon - Owner of the Link Shop in town (replaces Electivire)
Rapidash - Owner of the Day Care center and mother of Team GoldenStar's Ponyta
Lucario - Owner of the town Dojo, father of Team GoldenStar's Riolu
Pelipper - A bunch of Pokemon who run the mail system
Torkoal - The town elder and wisest of the citizens
Tropius - The cafe owner in town (replaces Spinda)
Arcanine and Growlithe - The Recycle Shop owners in town
VILLAINS
Darkrai - The main antagonist (main villain) of the story, attempts the cause of the Planet's Paralysis and Distortion of Space, but both attempts are thwarted and he's ultimately defeated
Genesect - The Pokemon who causes Reshiram and Zekrom to fight in order to throw the world out of balance, this attempt is thwarted and Genesect is defeated
Primal Diaga - He went evil from Darkness but is restored to normal when Team GoldenStar prevents the planet's paralysis
Spiritomb - Hurricane's exploration partner, but betrays her in order to serve Primal Dialga, is defeated when Bronzong takes him back to the future (replaces Dusknoir)
Rhyperior - Spritomb's right-hand Pokemon and squad leader
Ryu - A charmeleon who was an outlaw in Treasure Town, he then works for Spiritomb later in the future but risks his life for Team GoldenStar and returns to the present as a good guy
Sableye - The bunch of Pokemon who are the army/squad of Spiritomb
Team Airborne Destruction - A team that consists of an Aerodactyl as its leader and a Venomoth and Weezing, major rivals of Team GoldenStar (replaces Team Skull)
OTHER
Dialga - The pokemon who keeps Time under control in the story, also is the father of Temporal's Pride
Palkia - The Pokemon who keeps Space under control, mistakes Team GoldenStar for the creators of the Distortion of Space, but is corrected later on
Azelf, Mestprit, and Uxie - The lake guardians who guard the time gears, Azelf is the one who joins Team GoldenStar
Reshiram - One of the Pokemon who represents balance in the Pokemon world, also started fighting Zekrom when world got out of balance, but was stopped and restored by Team GoldenStar and Kyurem, also the parent of White Fire
Zekrom - One of the Pokemon who represents balance in the Pokemon world, also started fighting Reshiram when world got out of balance, but was stopped and restored by Team GoldenStar and Kyurem
Kyurem - One of the Pokemon who represents balance in the Pokemon world, he assisted Team GoldenStar to stop Reshiram and Zekrom from fighting to restore peace and balance to the world and also helped Team GoldenStar in defeated genesect
