Description
After a long time shooting with the Leica M240 and the Summicron-M 50mm, I decided to go mirrorless with the Panasonic Lumix S1.Thanks to this new technology, I feel confident enough to use faster lenses and still retain a perfect focus (if you are prepared to focus manually using zoom and focus peaking in the EVF). This is the Voigtländer Nokton 58mm f1.4 SL II, that became my new standard lens. After the first experiments, at full aperture (of which I’m very pleased), I went back to use the 2.8 aperture, to have more DOF to play with.
Maybe I should use more the widest apertures of this lens…
