The only resemblance I see here are the colors, and other people have used the palette before. Besides that piece is so old that I really don't think brandonwagner would be wasting his time trying to copy it...

You really can't even say that, the complexity of an organic render like this is pretty hard to do man. If you're singling him out for having a render that looks like that piece, then you should be blaming just about everyone who renders geometric renders too. And last, if you knew anything about art you'd know that in the real art world, ideas are borrowed all the time so the whole argument that artwork can be completely original is foolish man. You can't get to point B without going to point A first. It's called appropriation, look it up.

Seems to me you were mocking him for ripping off an idea, which he didn't even look at in the first place. My argument was there to show that it doesn't even matter if it's inspired or not, art is borrowed all the time and if people are going to actually waste their time and complain that "oh I did it first so no one can do it but me" is completely childish and moronic.
