Description
The 22nd Century successor to the famous M1 Abrams line of MBTs, the M2A2 is a staple of United States, NATO, and Coalition armed forces, and is an equal opposite to the Martian 'Perseverance' line. Produced by General Dynamics, all the same as the original, the tank keeps to the same general shape as the M1, while being extended in length and size by a good margin- 10 meters in length without the gun; 12 meters with it- ~3m longer than the M1A2. It sports a powerful L/70 M221A4 'Titanslayer' 120mm Railcannon, able to fire a wide variety of shell types; as well as a 30mm Autocannon, Four TOW missile launchers, Two Coaxial guns, and an Ultralight Phalanx-III CIWS. The M2 has an inbuilt autoloader system, while also allowing for manual loading of the gun, giving flexibility in the even the autoloader becomes jammed or damaged in any way.
