RoboCop, also known as OCP Crime Prevention Unit 001, was in his former life known as Alex Murphy, a Detroit Police officer who was brutally murdered by the Boddicker Gang. His remains were claimed by Omni Consumer Products and incorporated in Bob Morton's RoboCop program, which aimed to use advanced cybernetic technology to enhance the abilities of a human "donor". RoboCop's interior biological and mechanical components are protected by a titanium armored shell composite laminated with Kevlar, making him incredibly resilient to bullets, bombs, extreme impacts, heat and flames; he possesses different vision modes, as well as zoom and tracking for better targeting; and he has enhanced strength, able to grip a human hand hard enough to crush every bone in it and punch through walls. He's armed with the Auto 9, a 9mm select-fire pistol with a 50-round magazine that fires standard, armor-piercing, flechette, high-explosive, and seeker ammo; his gunarm, containing a 9mm machine gun, flamethrower, and a missile launcher capable of destroying an armored vehicle; a Cobra Assault Cannon, an anti-materiel rifle firing explosive incendiary rounds; and his terminal strip, a spike-like device he uses to interface with corresponding data ports and can also be used as a stabbing weapon. He drives a DPD-modified Ford Taurus police car, and also possesses a flightpack that allows him to fly and doubles as a recharging station for his battery system.

Judge Joseph Dredd was created by the Justice Department's Head of Genetics Morton Judd, a clone of the "Father of Justice" Eustace Fargo as part of their program to create a whole new breed of Judge. Created in 2066, Dredd is still alive in 2142 due to regular rejuve treatments, and is currently a Senior Street Judge and a member of the Council of Five, the ruling body of the Justice Department of Mega City One. He's armed with the Lawgiver MK II, a voice-activated machine pistol fitted with a palm scanner that will detonate the gun if picked up by anyone other than Dredd, Target Acquisition Sensor, Gunsight (Through-Barrel Targeting), Motion Tracker, Armored Casing, UHF Transceiver, Flash Suppressor and Bullpup Recoil Suppression System, and fires Standard Execution, Armor-Piercing, Ricochet, Incendiary, High-Explosive, and Heatseeker ammo, as well as a Neuro-Electric Energy Pulse that scrambles the target's nervous system, and clip-on grenade shells; an Arbitrator pump-action shotgun that fires dense plasteel Shot Shells, Standard Slugs, Armor-Piercing Slugs, Ricochet Slugs, Incendiary Slugs, High-Explosive Slugs, and Heat-Seeker Slugs; a Daystick, a titanium-cored club; and a Boot Knife. Dredd wears a helmet which has protective lenses, a respirator and a communicator built in, and drives a Lawmaster motorcycle, which is armed with powerful side-mounted cannons, a centrally-mounted 'Cyclops' laser, and has full Artificial Intelligence, capable of responding to orders from Dredd and driving itself.
