Description
This artwork was for a paper mini, which is why there's not much perspective.

Sylphs are elemental beings associated with air and so I really wanted to capture a feeling of lightness in the design as if gravity was little more than an afterthought to her.

The gossamer-like fabric of her dress extends far below the length of her legs because she never puts her feet on the ground and thus has no need to worry about trampling on it and tripping herself up.
