Another commission fromHere, he wanted me to fit the members of "Flash Drive" into this one scene from what I think is "Yu Yu Hakusho" (I'm not too sure I'm not too into Anime), I'm not sure what exactly happened here, I just was given the picture and was paid to fit the characters into it. I fit my own style here, by having Flash and Amp's faces visibly laughing hysterically, and Drum biting his lip looking like he's either really pissed off, embarrassed, or about to break out laughing too.
Anyways DaimondStar said this image is going to be involved in a fic he's currently working on. So I hope this is good, and I really look forward to when that fic is done.Β
Knowing his writing skills, it's sure to be.Β

I remember this episode of Yu Yu Hakusho. Β Kuwabara and his gang needed to get at least 50% on a test or one of them would lose a job and have no support for his family. Β Most of them could do it because their last scores were either close to 50 or above but Kuwabara made a 7% on his last test.

Yeah, poor CarlΒ looked hopeless, but you had to admire his determination to take a hit for his friends and succeed in the end. That was really touching, and it got me to give the series a watch, and so far I really like it.Β
(P.S. I call Kuwabara, "Carl" because I suck with Anime names, I just give them a simple English name to remember them by, like for Yuiskei, I nicknamed him "Eustace")

It's called an "Anime Prat Fall". It happens in most anime with comedic scenes from the last decade whenever someone says or does something stupid and the people around them fall to the ground for some reason. It's usually accompanied by a music track to tell them how stupid they are.

In the actual scene, if you look closely the guys that Flash and Amp are representing were actually in those positions more or less. Plus I thought it would look funny if I made these poses look extremely dramatic just for a laugh. xD
