Description I made this for Christmas. An important truth we should all hear.

In the beginning, God made everything, and saw it good.

Through one man, Adam, sin and death entered the world, and continues to seep through to this day through all of us.
God, being just, must judge and punish according to this sin.

None of us can live a perfect, spotless life. To each, we call ourselves 'good people'. But what is 'goodness'?
If there is no objective source or standard, what more is it than a frail opinion?

We all know we ought to act one way, yet we follow another.

God in His infinite wisdom, already had a plan for this from the beginning.

He sent forth His Son, Jesus Christ, God come to earth in the form of man.

He lived the life we could never live. A penal substitution for our sins.

He bore the rightful wrath of God for us. All who believe and give their lives to Him in faith will be saved.

The promises of old, still upkept. The hope we firmly lean on.

If there were no hope, then what more do we have?

A finite life. An unavoidable black end. Death awaiting us all.

Through God we have a hope. A new life.

"For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die.
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.
For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more,
having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.
And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have
now received the reconciliation."
