Description
So, I started to notice all the trash on the ground, that people are too lazy to pick up.It made me stop and think about what is considered 'acceptable' in society, and I think everyone has their own personal opinions, but it's a question that I think people should think about more often. I mean, why is it that we throw everything away? Why is it that we can't walk the extra ten feet to the trash can? Why is it we can't just put our soda cans into a recycling bin? Society, while not all bad, has some major flaws that people could fix if they would try.

It's nifty how you have so much insight on everyday things that most people would just overlook.

Well, I've got an oppionion of americans... damn my anti-american family. Seriously I don't think it's a problem just in america. With all the Death, Destruction, War, Poverty Ect you would of thought just putting something in a bin wouldn't be THAT difficult.

i think every country has its fair share of assholes. litter bugs me. we're living in a disposable society. 50 years ago you would buy a tv and it would last for years. and you would get it fixed, these dyas you get a vcr and replace it the next year. hmmm. ok so we have better 'things' now but they dont last like they used to. great photo, i especially like how youve cropped it, with the sloping edges.

yeah, i live in fremont Ca, this has got to be the most anal city in the world when it comes to litter and stuff. you can't ev en drive with your hand out the window because they assume you just dropped something and the cops will pull you over. It's happened to me, it sucks.
Thats a good photo. Did you move the can there for the shot or did you find it?

Being an American does have its pluses but also the negatives, I never understood why someone cant walk an extra ten feet to throw something away, its just pure laziness, It drives me crazy! Being a nature photographer I find trash in the most gorgous natural habitats, it pisses me off, but as an American I pick the trash up myself
Anyways I love your photo, I love the strong contrast, I look forward to see more of your society deviations

We don't get that as much here, but when I do see it it's really frusterating.. maybe even more so, since it's less common..

yeah life is funny like that... people can read a sign and then do the opposite. Makes me want to put up one that says "Do not jump off of bridge." Ah Ah god bless the USA and the trash that will someday consume it.
Nice pic ^_~ the way it stands out and the whole "Monster" thing written on it makes you think about the whole thing in prespective.
