About Cloud:
This is my main fursona, who represents everything that is based off of myself. He loves sweets like chocolate and fruits, and favors Strawberries and Watermelons any day. Music and rhythmic activities are favorable, and he loves to draw and play video games.
While he has a lot of patience for many things, his temper can be quite snappy if provoked. He is also currently overcoming self issues of worry and doubt. All in all though, he can be generally kind and caring, as well as affectionate to friends he holds close. Cloud would do anything to be there to protect and love the ones he cares most for, and will be damn persistent if need be. The main traits that define him the most, list as: Shy, Loving, Curious, and Lustful.

Summary:

Cloud was an orphan who grew by his only friend's side, whom he eventually called his best friend / brother. The two vampire kits were hunted by an elected Vampire Hunter by the nearest village, only to be saved by a stranger; a vampire who later takes them under his wing, and trains them in combat and weaponry. Through their adolescent years, their foster father finally informed them of their birth, that the two had been born into a rare vampire blood-line. Granting them enhanced capabilities no ordinary (stereotypical) vampire would hold.

With time, Cloud had experienced rough fights, and enough losses of his vampire comrades to understand and learn his limit / capabilities.

- The sun does not harm him, although it does suppress his power at most (on occasion) by half.
- Garlic doesn't harm him, although it does carry a side-effect of nausea and sickness, along with suppressing his power temporarily (until the sickness wears off at least) It doesn't stop him from eating spaghetti with garlic bread though!
- A stake to the heart-- A stake to anyone's heart can kill them ( pff- :U )
- Crosses and Holy water do not harm Cloud due to his strong belief in God and spiritual beings.

While Cloud may come off as unbalanced since he naturally contains enhanced defense and offense, this power he holds actually holds the potential of being his death.

[Exp. 1] With the rarity of the vampire blood-line flowing through his veins, he has the ability to undergo forms, increasing his offensive and defensive further. However, to do this, he must lift the suppression of the power within him. In doing so, brings the risk of that power being let out of control. The main core of this power is like an inner nuke that, if not kept in lock and chain, will shred and disintegrate the host from the inside out.

[Exp. 2] The power he holds within is too much for his physical state to control alone. With that being said, the more he allows that power to release, the more forms he undergoes with enhanced strength and speed... the more the consequences become severe and close to irreversible as it progresses. He will lose his conscious and state of mind, and turn into a savage killing machine with a severe hunger for blood. Not only that, if he loses his will altogether, that rage and blind control will only amplify further, the suppression weakening further, and the body literally begins to rip itself apart from the inside out, despite the ability to heal off of blood.

So the balance of his power and ability to withstand / tolerate an immense amount of pain, as well as contain an enhanced amount of strength, is that the suppression and control over such power /must/ be held. That is Cloud's weakness as the vampire race he was born into. He can't be too weak, but not too strong either. Otherwise, he could end up getting himself preyed on by stronger beings, or self destruct by his own power and rage.

Another factor that Cloud must constantly keep in check, is his emotions.

The way Cloud's energy works, is also based off his emotions, and can affect his physical state. If he is consumed by darkness and negativity, his blood begins to blacken... this black blood in particular is highly toxic, deadly to mortals, and strong against opponents generally weaker than him. His body naturally responds to this sudden change, by excreting it through any possible exit. i.e. tear ducts, nose, mouth, etc. This is his body's defense in keeping him from being consumed by that negativity, because the more of that blackened blood he has, the more he is driven by emotion, which in turn, weakens that suppression of his locked vampire power.

So the emotions and physical states all tie in and revolve around each other to exactly how his power is portrayed. Note however, he can withdraw his demonic bat wings from his back anytime, as well as excrete the body's natural black blood within him at will to use as an offensive in battle. This is where the 'control' takes place. He just needs to be careful with just how much power he taps into.
His emotions is simply one of his weaknesses (or strengths) in controlling said power. So while he may come off as seemingly unbalanced to many, it's actually more of a burden, since he has to constantly keep that power in check.

Cloud has incredible offense and defense, as well as immunity to stereotypical vampire weaknesses.
He /must/ keep this power in check, otherwise, he is consumed by it, and will undoubtedly self destruct.

-PHEW- That was a lot of typing owo; Cloud is definitely one of my more developed characters. I truly love what I have given him, story and physical status wise. Although I don't mind hearing any opposing opinions if anyone has any! (Personally, out of the people I've told his story to, all said they enjoyed and feel that his power is fair and exerted with balance. :3)
