Hmm… maybe.  I thought Nico incapable of loving anyone, never mind Percy, after Bianca died, and I've been proven wrong there.  Speaking of which, it didn't shock me so much that Nico was gay; what did shock me was the fact that "closed off and emo" Nico was able to love anything that deeply at all.
