Hyper realism pencil drawing of a woman in toil. This took me over 80 hours to complete drawn on 14"x17" on Bristol paper with graphite pencils.It's interesting to think about how there are times that people may get to a point similar to this in our lives, and most of us can find a way through it. When I was working on this piece, I wanted to convey the pain she is in and maybe strike a feeling of compassion from people that might view this piece.

On my browse through DA for Hyperealism, I found you. This work is brilliant. Can I ask? How do you find Bristol Board to work on? I'm in the middle of using it for the first time and I can't say I'm that impressed so far. Yes, I can get darks dark, but H's don't seem to go too well on it x
