Moments after the carrier fled the Collective ship Officer Jason tries to console the two who escaped."Easy now, your safe" Jason says trying to level with them.
"Oh my god, our friend! why didn't we save them?" The girl asked.
"They were too far along in the reprograming" Jason tries to gently explain.
After a few more moments the women calm down and another question.
"Do you think we'll see them again?" she asked.
Jason turned his head away with a grim expression. Knowing that the colony the Collective takes their humans too is nearly impenetrable.
