here is a better look at one of my original tea paintings done for the upcoming Steampunk art show, Mechanical Kingdoms at Disneyland ! it's called "a Journey through liquid aether."I am having a signing event saturday feburary 22nd from 9-11 am. the folks at Steam Day have set up an event page for a steampunk meetup at the park www.facebook.com/events/144155… AND The League of S.T.E.A.M. will be there as well after the signing for a League of S.T.E.A.M. Meet & Greet at Disneylandso if you couldn't tell...this is going to be a very steamy day at the park and you won't want to miss it. my originals will be available for sale as well as limited edition prints, and i will have a special treat for anyone who will be cosplaying as victoria that day. thanks everyone, i'm so excited and i hope to see you there!

I remember seeing the originals in the gallery on Main Street and drooling. A while ago, I managed to find a print of this (one of the last few) at Disneyland and it now proudly hangs on my wall. Now I'm on a mini mission to find the companion piece, Lost and Found, so it too can live on our wall and tie my love of mermaids with my fiancee's love of steampunk.

I remember seeing this for the first time a long time ago and loving it so much I saved every penny I could to buy it!
Here we are, two years later. It's finally gotten a frame and it's up on my bedroom wall. Every day when I get up and almost begin to kick myself in the back, I see this picture on my bedroom wall. I smile and tell myself, "Hang in there, you can draw anything if Mr Kesinger can do beautiful artwork like this with tea."

My aniversary is today. Spending it at Disneyland. My wife bought me the print. It's my second and I love it

Mermaids and Submarines...right up my alley! I used to make steam on a Nuke Sub

I THINK I'm good at drawing in that cartoon Disney-esque style...and then somethign like this comes along.
AMAZING work. I love the steampunk mermaids, all the details on their outfits and mechanical fins. The submarine is also very cool. Great work!

I want to see the movie of the Disney's Journey Through Liquid Aether! The story of merfolk that are injured my submersables and ships are saved by a creative tinker merman who creates these prosthetics to swim using pieces of ships and subs that have sunk to the bottom of the ocean. Once they gain mobility, they can swim like anybody else, and go on to do incredable thing!
