Description
One of the follow-on concepts for the Asteroid Redirect Mission was a human Phobos landing, using ARM designs wherever possible (SEP tug, capture arms, EVA hardware). Several configurations were studied, with varying numbers and sizes of modules (possibly built up over several missions), and either with Orion going to the surface or a dedicated transfer vehicle.
