A girl is following her destiny into the Faery Realm. Also, a good excuse to paint rocks and trees.

Love their smooth, barely perceptible gradations and variations in the stones and trees; melding into one yet different and subtly unique.

You are very talented as a water color artist, as well as with the other mediums you use. Found your work through a link in your wife's dA journal, and I'm very glad she posted it. Your work makes me want to try water colors again, which I haven't really done much with in years.

this scenery really brings back memories of when I was younger, wondering around in my grandparents woods near their house near the lake. it was the closest thing to a fairy tale in life this brings back those images. I love this brilliant work fave

And a very, very wonderfully rendered excuse for rocks and trees it is, too. I love the desolate feel of it - not at all what you'd expect for someone headed to the faerie realm ... unless, of course, they're faeries like Brian Froud's ... and your work reminds me of his, immensely.
