I agree with Elveariel on the colours, and I love her pose too.  One of the best I've seen of Thumbelina for sure on dA   Using transparent PNG is a good effect too because it uses the page's background colour, so light green on dA's case.  Pressing the download button shows her in a new window / tab on a darker green background.  Very cool!
