// I followed her to a small lake in the woods of Norway, I always thought she lived where Jamie did on that lake but she lived her in the country of snow and beautiful land
// it was cold but I didn't care I needed to get to her and make things right, I messed up this child was searching for someone to notice them and befriend them, comfort them, LOVE them....and we....I failed to see that...
// I stopped at the lake and I turned passing a tree and hid there, I finally saw a figure in the sky, it was coming in fast and it was swaying bad then I saw it was Jack.
// she tripped mid flight and landed hard into a snowbank I reached my hand out and then saw her lift her head up and what I saw broke my heart
// she was sobbing teeth held together to hold them back and eyes dull like no one was there no life, I was stuck in place I didn't.....how do you comfort a person....a child! who is so broken...
// just then a small white looking creature came out of a den and went to her, she looked to it and sadly picked it up and held it
// it was a small white arctic hare with bits of frost snowflakes on it, it put its nose on her nose and she stopped looking to the small rabbit and petted it softly it rubbed its head on her cheek, she leaned into the touch like she never felt it before
// I got up and moved to walk to her, she didn't notice me but the hare did and looked to me
"Frostbite...."
// she quickly looked up and gaspped but it was a deep voice kind like her voice was that of a boy and not a girl, her eyes wide she stood up and swayed she almost fell back but caught herself and tried to run

// I held my paw out and she stopped looking at me she looked so scared and small like a child that was yelled at but their parnets, she held the bunny closer protecting it she looked down

// I closed my eyes and breathed I was mad so mad at myself for what I've done she can't even look at anyone and she was so shy, when I meet her I thought she was a boy, a boy who messed with my egg hunts and killed everything life gave and when manny choose them I was more mad and thought the slient was them being rude....oh how wrong I was...
"I came after you.....to say am sorry..."
// she looked up and her eyes got bigger if they could her brows frowned like she was dumbfounded
"What I did to ya.....was...oh man in moon...."
// I covered my mouth and then covered my eyes, looking back up I saw her face was sad again and she was waiting for me to countine with what I was saying....she was too kind
"I hurt ya...but not just by what I did to ya yesterday."
// she flinched bad and backed up, but she stayed so I countine
"I hurt ya emotionally as 'ell and I will regret it for as long as I live....your just a child...you shouldn't have so many scars..."
// I reached out and she backed away, I laid a paw on her cheek and felt the purple bruise on her right cheek softly rubbing it she flinched again and grunts quietly her pupils are small like a deer in the head lights
"Ya been suffering for to long snowflake.....I want to make it up to ya and take care of ya....if ya let me.."
// she looked up her face showed nothing but shocked, her eyes were leaking water like a damn had broke and she slowly sunk to the ground and covered her face, small quiet sobs even when she was crying she was quiet, I kneeled down and the stone..the vessel of hope shine bright so bright you could see her so clearly in the snowy wind. I put my paw on the side of her face and hushed her
"Shh....its okay let it out snowflake..."
// she looked up her eyes squinted and mouth a thin line and tears falling down her face
"Ya had it all these years."
// I pointed to the necklace and she looked down at it and back up
"I felt it, all that time. I felt ya lose hope, slowly each day it went and it hurt my heart....'68 that's when ya lost it for good huh?"
// she gaspped and cried more holding back again
"I felt it...it was completely gone that day it hurt worse then anything I ever felt....and I was the reason for it, my fault I'm so sorry."
// he smiled to her and sighed
"I made ya lose hope when ya needed it most, some guardian of hope I am?..."
// he sighed again and a tear fell from him
// jack gaspped and looked at the rabbit sadly
"Ya should keep it, it's been it good hands all these years....I have no right to it anymore...but ya do...it is more safe with ya then me..."
// more tears and he looks away turly feeling sad for what he did
// she looked on sadly and then she frowned, she couldn't take it anymore, so she did the only thing she knew how to do. what happened next shocked him
// suddenly he felt two arms around him and a face in his chest holding on tight, he looked down and gaspped at her, she was hugging him her face in his chest and sobbing quietly shaking her head
'nos don'ts gives up please.....it's all me I dids all thoses tings wrongs...am a screws ups a bruden all I's do it mess ups..'
// he gaspped again, the same voice from before when jamie was saying he was there for her
// a loud sob came
"No ya not snowflake!"
// I yelled and held her close she flinced
"Ya did nothing wrong, ya only been doing what ya thought was right. ya saved all of those childern and even us....the ones who did ya wrong. ya may be a cold winta spirit but ya have a heart of gold! don't let anyone say to ya other wise even me or i'll beat them up!"
// he yelled and she gaspped and held on tighter and cried loudly this time, he held her close and rubbed his nose in her snow white hair and hushed her again
"Shh let it out snowflake....you've been alone for so long but not anymore I promise ta always be there for ya from now on..."
// he said and she nods into his chest she was so scared of being alone again
"Good....it's okay let it out I kno' ya been holding it in for so long."
// jack sobbed for awhile till the rabbit started rubbing his face in hers
"Who is that?"
// he asked looking down at the rabbit

// jack wiped her nose and looks down at the rabbit, it was white with light blue frost on it and it looked to be a baby hare but didn't act like one
// jack looked up and moved him down to her lap
'....he's...beens with me....for longs times....only....friend.'
// a echoed voice said voice cutting itself off due to anixety
"I see, how long has he been around?"
// she looked to the side and head nodding down slowly
'298.....years..."
// I jumped a bit and suttered
"W-What?!"
// a nod and she pets it more
"No normal animal...or rabbit can stay alive that long."

'don't know....always been....there..helps....not feel lonely.....'
// I bowed my head down in shame at that but I then lifted her up and she yelps and hids in my chest hugging the rabbit
"Sorry kiddo, don't worry I got ya. What's his name?"
// she keeps her head still but then moves it down curling in more into me
'Eljin.....'
// the voice echoed again and I opened a tunnel
"Nice name kiddo, let's go to the pole?"
// a nod and I jump in soon after and I ended up at the pole, it was really cold but I went to the doors and opened them I went down the halls to look for the others
