You're crushing my dreams
This is really the way it seems.
And as I sit here
with tears rolling down my cheeks,
fighting the urge to cry,
holding it all in like always,
because I don't want you to see my weakness,
I realize how much you're bringing me down.
Really pushing me to the ground
When, finally, I summon up the courage
to tell you my plans and hopes,
