Simply amazing, one of the best renditions of Microraptor I've seen on Deviantart. Excellent work.

Only critique is that Microraptor (and all maniraptorans, likely) wouldn't have had primaries extending past the the elbow, but it's a very minor quibble. I really love the detail in the feather texture and the realistic banding pattern on the flight feathers.

Primaries attach to the hand. Those are secondaries

But the principle is correct. The secondaries did not extend back behind the elbow.

Actually... wouldn't that be tertials? Primaries = manus, secondaries = ulna, tertials = humerus.

I see the three words used interchangeably pretty much all the time. I think I'll just start saying "remiges" to account for all cases.

They might be tertials. To be honest, though I'd heard that word before, I have never known which feathers they were referring too. Primaries = manus and secondaries = ulna is definite though.
