Right, 2023... where do I even start? Remember how last year I said that 2022 was the most dogshit ? Well, this year, let's say, was definitely more awful.

First let me talk about the New Year's goals that I made last year:
-Good news: Me and my family didn't move to a new apartment, in fact I don't think this year we've even seen our landlord's ex-husband. So thankfully, we get to stay a bit longer.
-And be ready for a vent: My goal was to work on myself to be tolerable... I feel like I failed.

Throughout the year, my mental health had gotten worse, I started taking sedatives but they did nothing. At one night I had attempted something unspeakable, because everything was too much. But I don't want to dwell on that, I feel uncomfortable even remembering about this night. Words can't explain how terrible I felt for making my friends worried. And speaking of friends, I also had to cut ties with a couple of old friends from 2020. I felt guilty, but it was for my own good as those friendships were pressuring me. Currently I feel slightly better now that I've done that. This year ended in a turn of events: On November 30th I broke up with my (now ex-)boyfriend with whom I had been since 2021, we weren't working out as a couple anymore and decided to stay friends.

Depressing stuff aside, 2023 was the year where I started exploring a lot of new fandoms: I fell in love with the Devil May Cry series, played a couple of Resident Evil games (with RE5 being my favourite), started playing Deep Rock Galactic and PAYDAY 2, regained my interest in the Borderlands series... and I retired from Team Fortress 2.

Art-wise: Didn't make many posters (and drawings) because of artblock and business with college. Gotta say, this year I've definitely been doing more stuff in SFM than GMod. I also tried Source 2 Filmmaker, it was a whole new experience with the diverse light settings.

Anyway, I wanna thank those who stayed with me during 2023 and managed to handle my bullshit, you are the best.
