I rather enjoyed the uniqueness of the picture - the somewhat steam-punk, somewhat mystical setting, drawn together by an interesting array of characters; and, in general, if emotion was hoped to be portrayed, I'd say you presented a good mix. With the combination of the oddly happy fluff-creature, the dismal seeming child with his piercing red gaze, and the stern expression of what appears to be a guardian of some sort, along with the very whimsical, light-hearted background, I'd say the plethora exists therein. Excellent!

The characters are weird, in a good way! I absolutely love the cityscape in the background. The colors are amazing. The fuzzy creature..thing....I love it; it doesn't quite make sense with the rest of the picture, but it's awesome. Very nice work.
