Perhaps a desert-esque background? :] Like.. a thick border with desert-y glyphs in it.. and a sandy scene behind it? With the Fox itself in the lower right corner or something.

I'd almost suggest not adding anything to this to distract from the central face, since it looks perfected as it is. Excellent work!

eek <3 how adorable! I love the fur and the eye, they look so real! The feather is a very nuce addition, too, because it adds some contrast to the orange. Great job!

I love Fennecs. I've always wanted to draw one too. I think a border would look nicer than a background. Maybe a native or tribal pattern would work.

Holy jeebus, that's AMAZING. It looks like a frikken' photo. The fur texture is just.. really really well done. I know I could never pull something like that off. I especially like the eye and the feather. The bright blue is a very nice contrast to all the golds and oranges.
